Another huge plus is that when you spray Baby Fresh Cleanser on your baby’s bottom, it leaves a protective barrier of aloe and glycerin on your baby’s bum, preventing future diaper rash!

I always feel so bad changing Ian’s diapers when he has a poop. Why? Well, Ian has very sticky poop (gross, right?) and to get him clean it sometimes takes 5-6 wipes, and LOTS of hard scrubbing to get it all unstuck from his bottom. And that is if we find out he went immediately after – if he is off playing or it happens in the car, it is ever worse. This wonderful spray is lovingly referred to as “Ian’s Butt Spray” in our home, and Ian will run and get it when it is time to change his diaper. Just a few sprays before we wipe and it is amazing what a difference it makes. Instead of the hard scrubbing and 5+ wipes to get his bottom clean, I am using 1-2 wipes and gently wiping him off. He is so much happier!

I have used other cleansers in the past, and I was disappointed by the slightly oily feel that they left behind. The Baby Fresh Cleanser is so much different. It not only helps to get my son clean, but leaves his skin feeling clean – no residue or product left behind. Plus, I really like that this is a gentle product – Ian has very sensitive skin and I was worried that this might irritate it, but it doesn’t at all! It is as gentle as water (but MUCH more effective!!)

Spring is here and beautiful and sunny and warm!!    The change in weather (coupled with nesting!) have caused me to want to clean everything.  Have you started spring cleaning yet?  I am sure of many of you have, but I bet you haven’t thought much about how to get your babies bottom cleaner!!    I know that  I never really gave it too much thought.  When I was contacted by Marli, the owner of Bebe Bottom Skincare, about their Baby Fresh Cleanser, I was a little bit skeptical.   A spray to use in addition to disposable wipes?   Why would I need that or want that?    But trust me, this stuff is AMAZING!!   Here is what it is advertised to do:

I have tried it with both disposable wipes/diapers and cloth wipes/diapers.  Baby Fresh Cleanser worked great with each.  It really helps get the poop off!  My 15 month old daughter has loose, sticky stools a lot (yikes! that is TMI!)  and Baby Fresh Cleanser makes it much easier to clean up.  I definitely am using less wipes.    I love the smell of the spray and it was very gentle on her bottom.  She has CRAZY sensitive skin and we have had much less diaper rash than normal.  Seriously, when she poops, she gets a rash normally ~ it is terrible.    The protective barrier that this provides works well (and I haven’t been using any diaper cream during the day).  So far I have not noticed a huge difference in the oder in the disposable diapers (not that I am examining them closely  ~lol), but in the cloth diapers that I wash every other day, their seems to be a lot less ammonia oder.

Also, it is REALLY easy to use.   The spray bottle that it comes in works great and my daughter does not seem to mind having it sprayed on her at all.  I will definitely be buying more when my supply runs out!

I was so very curious about the Baby Fresh Cleanser, and couldn’t wait to get a bottle to review. Diaper duty is such a dirty job and I am all for trying anything that will help make the messes less messy! Well, let me tell you, we have been using our Baby Fresh Cleanser for a few weeks now and I am loving it, and so is mister Hollis! It is very simple to use and really does help make cleaning that dirty bum less of a mess all while leaving a fresh, clean scent when the job is done! I have noticed that when I use the Baby Fresh Cleanser I don’t need to use as many wipes, especially with the really dirty ones.The cleanser gets his bottom so clean and I feel so confident that he is fresh and comfortable in his new diaper.

Hollis has very sensitive skin so I was careful when first trying this product on his hiney, testing it only in a small area. It does contain 88% organic ingredients, so I was pretty confident that he wouldn’t have any reaction, but still wanted to be careful. His skin showed no reactions, and we have been using the Baby Fresh Cleanser at every diaper change. We even made it through a bout of teething without diaper rash, which hasn’t happened before! I think we owe it all to Baby Fresh Cleanser, protecting that tiny hiney! Hollis actually asks for his “spray” at each diaper change. It is too cute! Now he is most definitely spoiled and I am going to have to order my next bottle of Baby Fresh Cleanser pretty soon, or I’m sure I’ll be in the dog house with my baby boy!

 Oh the joys of the winter months in Ohio. I knew that the stomach flu was going to hit our house like a ton a bricks sometime this year and I was not looking forward to it at all.
