Back in Fluff Review & Giveaway of Baby Fresh Cleanser

October 20th, 2011

When I made the decision to cloth diaper, I had so many questions; not just about cloth diapers, but other things, like wipe solution…  What would I do for wipe solution?  How do I know which kind is good, what works best?

I looked up ways to make my own wipe solution, but wasn’t really thrilled at the idea. I had enough to worry about, learning about cloth diapers, without adding that in.  Someone told me that they just used water on their cloth wipes, but that didn’t seem like the best idea to me, especially with poo diapers. I finally settled on wipe cubes, which worked well enough, but I still wondered if
something better was out there.

So when I heard about Baby Fresh Cleanser by Bebe Bottom Skincare, I knew I had to get more info!

Baby Fresh Cleanser was created by Marli, a mommy of 3 who wanted to find a better way of dealing with the mess and odor that came along with changing diapers.  Baby Fresh Cleanser loosens the poop and pee and helps reduce the odor causing and diaper rash causing bacteria, leaving a protective barrier of aloe and glycerin on baby’s sensitive skin to help prevent future
diaper rash.

As soon as I got this cleanser in the mail to review, Connor gave me the opportunity to use it.  He had quite a poo mess, and I was slightly surprised- and a bit in disbelief- when I read that all I
needed to do was spray the cleanser on the diaper area, let it sit for 10 seconds and wipe away, with no need to rinse!  I followed the directions still in disbelief; until I was done. Then I was in awe.

Previously, with a diaper that messy, it took a few wet wipes to get rid of the mess. This
took me one wipe; one dry wipe.  The mess came right off, no need for rubbing or using much pressure while wiping; better for me and better for Connor’s sensitive tooshie! And, just as the bottle said, there was an obvious barrier left on his skin.  Best of all, the nasty poo smell was gone! *One caution: The initial smell of the cleanser upon spraying was much stronger than
I expected, and I was a bit overwhelmed with it at first. However, the initial strength quickly diminishes and baby’s bottom is left smelling fresh and clean!

Another thing I love about Baby Fresh Cleanser: With average use, the 8oz bottle should last me a couple months or more!  I’m not sure how your experience is with wipe cubes/solution, but I don’t make it more than a couple of weeks before needing more!

FYI: While Baby Fresh Cleanser is not marketed for cloth diapers, many cloth diapering momshave used it with their babies and experienced no issues.  Each of the listed ingredients are also safe for cloth, so I’m not worried that I’ll experience any issues in the future.

I am thrilled to have Baby Fresh Cleanser, and know if you try it you won’t go back to the “other” wipe solution again!

Life with Captain Fussybuckets Review

October 17th, 2011

Gena from Life with Captain Fussybuckets was nice enough to review Baby Fresh Cleanser for me.  See what she had to say:

Baby Fresh Cleanser:  Review & Giveaway!

We received a bottle of Baby Fresh Cleanser to try for Baby D’s messy diaper changes!  I did a little research before using it because it’s not marketed for cloth diaper users, but many moms with little ones in cloth diapers have used it, and all the ingredients are safe for cloth diaper use, so we were good to go!
The first time I used it, Baby D had (TMI ahead..) that dry, hard to wipe off poo.  I sprayed a couple of sprays on his bottom and only had to use one wipe to get it all off!  It was awesome!  I didn’t have to rub to get the poop off, which I’m sure Baby D appreciated, as well!
Curious as to what the main ingredients are? Read this from the product’s website:

Quality organic ingredients that we selected to help baby’s sensitive skin:
Aloe Barbadensis (organic Aloe) leaf Juice-  It is nature’s finest body cleanser, helps to promote would healing and moisturizes and softens baby’s sensitive skin.
Kosher Vegetable Glycerin- It is derived from palm oil and has a soothing effect and acts as a natural protective agent against future diaper rash.
Tea tree oil-Has beneficial medical properties when applied topically, including antiseptic, antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiviral action, which aids in the cleaning of baby’s sensitive skin.

The website also says that it is not meant to treat diaper rash, but it helps in PREVENTING the diaper rash!
This is definitely a product that you don’t know that you really need until you try it!  It makes diaper changes so much easier and I’m thrilled that I have my very own bottle!  It was made by a mom and tested by moms, so really, how could you get any better than that!?

Midwestern Moms Cloth Diaper Event

October 5th, 2011

We here at Bebe Bottom Skincare are so excited to be a sponsor of the Midwestern Moms Cloth Diaper Event.  Go to midwestermoms.com and enter to win your very own bottle of Baby Fresh Cleanser.

Bebe Bottom Skincare was founded by Marli, a mother of 3 children. She was looking for an easier way to cleanse her baby’s bottoms and help deal with the odor.  Thence the Baby Fresh Cleanser was born!

I have to admit that when I first learned about cleansing spray products, my first thoughts were: “Why would I be interested in a cleansing spray?  Wipes do just fine don’t they?”  When I received my Baby Fresh Cleanser, I read the bottle and was intrigued by it.  I then went to Bebe Bottom Skincare’s website to read more.  I learned that Baby Fresh Cleanser is 88% organic, it helps reduce the bacteria that cause odors, and it helps to protect your child from diaper rash.

The instuctions for the Baby Fresh Cleanser were very easy to follow: Spray on your baby’s bottom every diaper change, wait 10 seconds and wipe clean.

The first day I tried Baby Fresh Cleanser, I started using it mid-way through the day.  My son had already had one poopy diaper earlier that day.  I used about 5 wipes to get him clean.  Later that day, he had another poopy diaper.  I gave his bottom a spray and waited the 10 seconds.  I used only 2 wipes to get him clean!!!!  It really does help removing the mess from his bottom area.  After each use, the Baby Fresh Cleanser leaves my baby smelling fresh and clean.  I have been using Baby Fresh Cleanser about 2 weeks now and still love it!

If you are intersted in buying the Baby Fresh Cleanser you can do so from the Bebe Bottom Skincare website for $9.75  for an 8 oz. bottle.  An 8 oz bottle will last on average 3 months!

Holly from This Mama Rocks…has this to say about Baby Fresh Cleanser.  You can also win a bottle (US residents only) go to http://www.thismamarocksblog.com/?p=1697 and enter to win a bottle for yourself or a friend.

Review: My poor babies always have the most sensitive skin. I always love trying new baby products to see what works best. Bebe Bottom Skincare is a great product to keep your babys bottom fresh. It is great for sensitive skin which my babies always tend to have. I love that this cleanser has a barrier to protect against future diaper rash. It is easy to use and the bottle is a generous size, so it lasts you a long time. A great thing about Bebe Bottom Skincare is it makes diaper changes easier and you don’t use as many wipes as you would normally. I was really happy with Bebe Bottom Skincare.

Moms Review 4 You

June 9th, 2011

Baby Fresh Cleanser has gotten another great review by Melissa from Moms Review 4 You.  You can also enter to win a bottle for yourself or for a friend.  Baby Fresh Cleanser makes a great baby shower gift!

When I was sent this product I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect … I had never heard of anything like it. Let me just tell you, I AM SOLD!!! I love this product and I use it with every diaper change. Number one, it smells great and really helps improve my little guys stinky bum. Number two, it makes changing fast, simple and clean. It seems so often that I wonder what in the world my son ate and how it is so sticky or gritty and hard to get off. Not with Baby Fresh Cleanser … anything comes right off and my sons bum is soft and clean. I think this is a great product and would be so cute in a gift basket for a baby gift! I am planning on keeping it on hand … in fact I want two, one for upstairs, one for downstairs!
